Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
We provide coaching, education, resources, and support to increase access and eliminate barriers.
Policies
Equity Lens
Adopted by the Board in 2023, our goal is for everyone at MESD to consistently apply the Equity Lens in their work.
All employees are encouraged to continuously practice and develop the critical thinking necessary to use the lens. We believe that this practice will not only inform our organizational development, but also enhance our collective impact. By creating a culture where the Equity lens is routinely utilized and the outcomes are carefully analyzed, we aim to focus on achieving measurable results that address internal barriers and improve our practices.
Vendor Diversity Policy
This Board-adopted policy is a tool for MESD to create better community engagement and increase contracting with historically underrepresented communities.
