Providence Willamette Falls
Providence Willamette Falls school program is an intrinsic part of the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Unit that provides treatment for children with mental health challenges. This is a 22-bed unit serving children with mental and behavioral needs from the ages of 5 through the end of their 17th year. Education is provided four hours a day with the focus on academic curriculum, tutoring and homework coordination. Hospital school teachers work closely with a multi-disciplinary team of psychiatrists, nurses, social workers, families and schools to support in the transition of each student to their next placement, providing recommendations for 504 plans, IEPs and school re-entry.

Meet the Providence Willamette Falls Staff
Molly Boykoff
Hospital Teacher, Providence Willamette Falls

Molly grew up in Wisconsin. She has been in Oregon for a little over 20 years. She earned her undergraduate degree in Special Education from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. She earned two Masters degrees (in Educational Technology and Education Administration) from DeVry. Molly has been teaching since 2001 in various settings including the Madison Metropolitan School District, the Pajaro Valley Unified School District and the Beaverton School District. She has taught in all grade levels K-12 and has been with MESD since 2016. She lives in Portland and has two children who are both in high school. In her free time, she likes to do Mutual Aid and spend time with her family.
Jack Pierce
Educational Assistant, Providence Willamette Falls
Jack comes from Boston, Massachusetts. This past summer, they road-tripped out to Portland with their partner, seeing most of the US for the first time. In the spring, they graduated with a BS in Mathematics from the University of Massachusetts - Boston. They’ve worked in a variety of educational settings, including as a tutor for the past three years, as a teacher’s assistant for a 7th grade math class, and as a lead teacher for a summer school program. Jack loves learning new math, reading, rock climbing, and writing poetry. They’re excited to explore the Portland area, and continue on this wonderful adventure.
