Family Resources & Parenting Skills
Multnomah Project LAUNCH is promoting young child wellness by encouraging parents and families to connect with 211info to access resources and parenting information. A public relations campaign is in development.
The grant funds an Early Childhood Community Liaison at 211info to gather information on programs and resources, enter them into the 211info database, and promote the 211info early childhood resource to community organizations. Multnomah Project LAUNCH also funds free access for Multnomah County callers to speak with an experienced parent educator for parenting tips, support and followup referrals. Thanks to Oregon Community Foundation and PacificSource, this service expanded to also include Washington, Clackamas, Polk, and Lane counties. Health Share is continuing 211info Family for Multnomah, Washington, and Clackamas counties after LAUNCH.
Please see the link below for more information about early childhood resources that can be accessed through 211info.
