Mental Health Consultation to Childcare & Home Visiting Teams
Multnomah Project LAUNCH supports a team of mental health consultants (2 FTE) from Morrison Child & Family Services and adds Positive Behavior Interventions & Supports (PBIS) consultation from MESD. This team works with staff at three childcare centers and one Healthy Start home visiting program. Mental health consultants provide support and capacity building to early childhood professionals in the area of social, emotional and behavioral development. The consultation also provides one 14-week "Incredible Years" training to parents per year, rotating through the three childcare centers.
