
Workforce Development
The Center for Improvement of Child & Family Services at Portland State University provided support for Multnomah Project LAUNCH workforce development. The Center organized the Young Child Wellness Summit in December 2011, surveyed and conducted stakeholder interviews to identify workforce development training needs, provided a variety of trainings, and supported development of a Positive Behavior & Interventions Support (PBIS) trainings.
An additional piece of workforce development was a collaboration between LAUNCH Mental Health Consultation and another federal grant, the Defending Childhood Initiative. This collaboration produced an ECPBIS module to use with staff in domestic violence shelters. See below:
