Three Lakes High School

Educational programs in youth correction facilities provide social skills and educational and post-secondary planning to assist students in completing their High School Diploma and/or GED and dual credit and college options. The students in these accredited programs (Three Lakes and Riverside at Oak Creek Youth Correctional Facility, and Ocean Dunes at Camp Florence) are between the ages of 12 and 24. They have been adjudicated and are in the custody of the Oregon Youth Authority. Post-secondary programs include both vocational education, college and dual credit.

Services Include:

  • Special education
  • English learner services and transition services
  • Accredited high school diploma and GED support
  • Dual college credit and post-secondary supports
  • Welding, agriculture, and other CTE programs

Three Lakes High School is dedicated to giving our students high-quality education.

Vision: Three Lakes High School facilitates a passion for learning and builds upon the potential of our students through vocational experience, education, creative opportunities and support.

Mission: To use our passion for teaching to cultivate successful, confident, self-directed learners in pursuit of college or career experiences.

Teachers at Three Lakes High School utilize differentiated instruction techniques to engage students from various backgrounds and experiences. We also provide a selection of college level programs that are kindly offered through partnerships with various Oregon colleges. Our on-site college level programs include biology, sociology, and computer skills, and a couple days a week some students are able to attend a couple college courses that are offered through a local college in Albany.

Three Lakes High School is proud to be a digital school. Outside of classroom lectures, discussions, and projects, students continue their learning on Chromebooks and Chromeboxes through a partnership with the Oregon Youth Authority and Google Apps for Education. Our technology is managed by Cascade Technology Alliance. Three Lakes High School is a fully accredited high school through AdvancED.
