Special Education
MESD assists local school districts in providing quality special education services to students with disabilities, from 5 - 21 years of age. Services are provided by SafetyCare certified professionals using trauma informed care practices. Students are placed in our programs through referral from their resident school district.
The majority of offered services are determined and funded through the MESD resolution process, while others are provided through grants and contracts.
