Assistive Technology Services
AT services means any service that directly assists a child with a disability in the selection, acquisition or use of an assistive technology device. This includes:
1. The evaluation of the AT needs of a child;
2. Acquisition of AT devices
3. Customizing and repairing of AT devices
4. Coordination with other therapies and interventions
5. Training for the child
6. Training or technical assistance for professionals

What is an AT device?
OAR 581-015-2000 (2) Assistive Technology Device
“...any item, piece of equipment or product system, whether acquired commercially off the shelf, modified, or customized, that is used to increase, maintain or improve functional capabilities of children with disabilities. The term does not include a medical device that is surgically implanted, or the replacement of such a device.”
