Multnomah Education Service District: Request for Quotations #345-25-MIG05 for Bus Transportation for Migrant Summer School (2025). Responses due by 2:00 p.m. PDST (Pacific Daylight Savings Time), Wednesday, April 9th, 2025

Quotes for providing bus transportation for students living throughout East Multnomah County to attend Migrant Summer School at school locations to be determined will be received by the Multnomah Education Service District Migrant Education Program office, Attn: Kristen Sheaffer, 11611 NE Ainsworth Circle, Portland, OR 97220-9017 or by email to ksheaffe@mesd.k12.or.us until the date and time specified above.

Multnomah Education Service District: Sole Source Notice: Intent to Contract for Forklift/Heavy Equipment Personal Simulator; Responses due by 2:00 pm, PDT on March 17, 2025

Be advised that Multnomah Education Service District (MESD) anticipates entering into a contract with Klein Educational Systems, Inc. to provide Simlog’s Forklift Personal Simulator and associated software. Klein Educational Systems, Inc.  is the only authorized dealer in Oregon to provide the Simlog equipment and software, which simulate the controls of a typical sit-down, counterbalanced factory forklift with rear-wheel steering (also called ” sit-down rider truck”, “lift truck”, and “fork truck”) suitable for OSHA Class 1, 4, and 5 operator training programs. This equipment and software will support our Career and Technical Education certification programs.

MESD hereby requests information as to whether other organizations have similar and competing products and experience that will provide the same required result no later than the date above.  

Such information shall be submitted to Multnomah Education Service District, Attn Christine Otto, 11611 NE Ainsworth Circle, Portland, Oregon 97220 or via email to cotto@mesd.k12.or.us and shall be submitted so as to be received at the district office no later than the date and time listed above.
 


Multnomah Education Service District: Annual Notice of Categories of Special Temporary Services

Multnomah Education Service District (MESD) has identified a need for certain highly specialized categories of personal services which may need to be obtained from temporary employment service agencies on an “as-needed” basis during the 2024-25 school year. The highly specialized categories of services include:

  • ​Speech and Language Pathologist 
  • Speech and Language Pathology Assistant
  • School Psychologist
  • Occupational Therapist 
  • Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant 
  • Physical Therapist
  • Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant 
  • Behavior Consultant 
  • Special Education Teacher 
  • Qualified Mental Health Professional
  • Mental Health Consultant
  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
  • Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Paraprofessional / Educational Assistant

Selection of individual providers of these services will be based on a reasonable, efficient process developed by the department requiring such services.

At this time, MESD is not soliciting proposals for Temporary Service Agencies.

MESD is requesting contact information from any and all providers of temporary services in the categories listed above who may be interested in responding to MESD if and when proposals are solicited.​
