The MESD School Improvement Program11/12/2015 ![]() The MESD School Improvement Program hosts Secondary Literacy Coaches' Network meetings three times a year for grade 6-12 instructional coaches throughout the tri-county region. At our January 12th gathering, participants discussed hot topics in literacy instruction, discovered new digital tools, and learned nonfiction reading strategies. Penny Plavala, School Improvement Specialist, creates an engaging agenda with the help of Network members, shares new instructional resources, and highlights upcoming professional development events.
